Our Products are 100% Palm Oil FREE
Sustainable palm oil farming has come a long way in recent years, however there are a few reasons that we choose not to use Palm Oil in our soaps. Most importantly its not currently a sustainble practice. Palm oil is a cheap ingredient that can add some nice benefits to soap, however we choose to not use filler ingredients and to use oils that are more nourishing for your skin.
Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal has been heated to change the molecular structure to give it more surface area.... this allows activated charcoal to absorb more toxins than it otherwise would. Activated charcoal is skin-safe because it is made of burned-up all-natural materials such as bamboo fibers and coconut shells. Activated charcoal has even been shown in studies to bind to the toxins in your system and help relieve intoxication.
Kaolin Clay
Kaolin clay in cosmetics has super absorbant properties, pulling excess dirt and toxins from your skin. Kaolin clay has been shown to have anti-aging properties, literally increasing the collagen fibers in your skin.
